How This Works

We all have ideas for making things better. Ideas to improve a product, a company, your city, or just about anything in the world. Should Do This is the best suggestion box for getting your ideas heard. Suggest improvements for the world around you, see what others are suggesting and join the dialog of thinkers and tinkerers. Let people know what you think would make just about anything, better.

Who hears the suggestions?

While Should Do This does not have any direct line to the companies, organizations, or people our users may set up suggestions boxes for, we do help get these suggestions out there where they can be seen and discussed. The website is filled with community content created by users. We do provide a service that allows someone (for a monthly fee) to moderate a suggestion box (which comes with administrative privledges and the ability to customize the page).

Why should I do this rather than contact the company directly?

If you have a good line on a way to make your suggestion directly, by all means, go for it. What we’ve found is that even many “with it” companies don’t have a handy spot to drop off an idea (let alone tell you when it is completed). Also, by going public with your suggestion, you might find kindred spirits who help lobby for your suggestion.
