Currently I can’t login with my LJ or 43T username via OpenID. I hear this is almost fixed, though.

There is a bug with 43T, but LJ should work.
One thing that is confusing everyone is you need to create an account with open id first:

We do this so we can ask for a name and email address, maybe we should be doing this after someone “logs in” with an unrecognized identity url.

I fixed the 43T bug with identity providing, so it should work now.
I also rearranged the flow so it makes more sense (eliminating the mysterious ‘create an account with openid’ entry point that nobody was finding anyway). Go to login, click 43things, put your username in the url, and it should work. We do require that you put in your name, email, and username, so you have to do that after verifying your identity at 43things.

I used my OpenID to sign up today. It works.
Where is the button to click that I think this is done? It doesn’t appear in the sidebar.
