43 Things should enable Amazon book cover images to be added as goal images

I’m aware that images can be added to comments AND goals, but I’ve hesitated adding a simple book image or web site logo due to copyright concerns. Since the co-op has good relations with Amazon via all-consuming, creating an agreement that allows this should be mutually beneficial. The extra little eye-candy (and link to the book listing at Amazon) should be manageable in the layout.

Should not do this

What are some example goals that would involve book covers? If your goal is to read a book, then maybe you should put it on your All Consuming list instead.

Should do this

The particular example I had in mind relates to my recent personal goal to keep my kitchen sink sparkling clean for a week. Being a clutter bug, I hae seen the FlyLady website in the past (which was and perhaps still is) tied to the success of a book called

“Sink Reflections”
by Marla Cilley
The FlyLady
Bantam Books
ISBN: 0-553-38217-9

I didn’t want to steal the copyright protected image, but I did want to allude to the web site and book.

I think if people have the goal “figure out what the hell to do with the rest of my life” or “discover my purpose” they might like putting up the cover of books like “What color is your parachute?” or “A Purpose Driven Life”.

Maybe is someone has the goal “have a baby”, they could put up the cover of “What to expect when you’re expecting”.

I’m sure there are several books for certain common goals … perhaps 43 Things could rotate through various recommendations that folks choose. For Amazon, or various book distribution sites allowing this it would be a form of premium/prominant advertising.
