As a great fan of gmail. I know, the privacy stuff should probably make my hair stand on end. But could they please add a tab so that I can switch over to the reader. It would make life just that fractional bit easier.

Has done this
Reader is in the “More” drop down at the end of the GMail bar. Of course, it would be even better if it was at the top level. I often go from reading mail to reading blog posts.
