Should not do this

Actually the iTunes stores only sells songs in AAC format (much better than mp3). To purchase mp3’s go to the Wallmart, MTV and Realmusic sites, all of which have only sold a fraction of the songs that the iTunes store has (which might change now that they are allowed to sell songs without built in DRM).

If your contention is that nobody pays for music that one can download for free, I would submit that the fact that the iTunes store has sold over a billion dollars in songs since it has started proves the fallacy of your supposition.

Should do this

My contention is that only fools pay for digital music, and I stand by it, regardless of their number or the success of a large corporation in fleecing said fools.

Should not do this

What do you think of alternative companies such as CD Baby?

No opinion

What you’re really saying is that you feel “stealing” is better.

Should do this

Any musician who feels otherwise is a shill. Music is free, if you want to be a sucker, go right ahead.
