City of Seattle should create a Seattle Card for residents 1 cheer

that would be amazing and would make bus service more efficient, particularly since most non-residents use the bus in the free ride zone. it couldn’t cost that much in terms of additional taxes to pay for city-wide bus passes.

Should do this

It could be as simple as extending free bus service to your house. You live in the city, you pay taxes, the bus that goes closest to your house (if it’s outside the ride-free zone) would be free to you. Because it should be. How do they know? Because you’ve got a Seattle Card!

Should do this

And it should work for light rail too. I am totally one of those people who will walk 10 blocks to the free station downtown because I think it’s dumb to pay $1.50 to go 10 blocks.

Should do this

I will walk to free, too. It feels great.
