What exactly isn’t intuitive? Do you just want a single button on the keyboard somewhere? or do you want the feature-set expanded? A program that promises more, recently went beta-invite Skitch.

What is the key command for a screenshot? Thanks.
Command-Shift-3: This will take a picture of your entire desktop.
Command-Shift-4: This will give you crosshairs that you can drag over the selection you want captured.
Command-Shift-4 … followed by pressing the space bar after you see the crosshairs: This will bring up a camera icon, from there it will only take a picture of the window that you happen to be currently mousing over.
If you hold down “control” while doing any of this, it will result in the picture being placed into your clipboard, rather then a file being created on your desktop, you can then paste it into photoshop, quark, indesign, etc.
If you go into System Preferences → Keyboard & Mouse → then click on the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, you will see all of the default Apple keyboard shortcuts. You can even create your own shortcuts for whatever program you have on your machine. Just watch for conflicts.
