Today I went through the process of editing my paid suggestion box and realized a few things:
1) There are two version of a paid suggestion box: a) what you see when you sign up for a paid account and b) what you see after you’ve mapped a domain.
2) The domain-mapped version of the site is exactly what I wanted, but I had little way to know what to expect. I don’t remember ever learning about all the cool things that happen once a domain is mapped to something like http://suggest.commoncraft.com. Suddenly the page becomes an island – just what I wanted.
My suggestion is to make these benefits more clear to users. Maybe link to a few sample accounts and/or provide screenshots that show the difference.
