add a birthday application so users don't try to manage birthday greetings among their "real" goals
–1 cheer
I don’t have any room on my list to add goals that aren’t real goals in my offline life, yet there are dozens of 43Thingers at any given time who I don’t wish to snub on their upcoming birthday. The current way of observing birthdays in the 43Things community has grown up organically due to user demand and has numerous very committed users who voluntarily maintain birthday lists and send out invitations to others to join the “Wish Flash a happy birthday” goal. It only makes sense that this phenomenon, so different from the intent of 43Things, would have its own sister site.

43 Things should not indicate which goals I have already cheered, on a person's goal page, so that we don't have to waste time clicking on stuff we've already cheered
