While this suggestion is well-intentioned, it’s an expensive solution that benefits a tiny number of cases. (Two?) As a parent, I would have rather had the effort spent on standardizing car seat installation. Most of them are a royal pain in the ass to set up; and once you’re done, you tend not to move it.
Also, I lost count how many times the only way to soothe my child to sleep was to take her on a late-night car ride. Typically when I got home, also exhausted, we’d both sleep in the car parked in the garage) until she woke up. The last thing I’d want is to wake her up.
I am sketchy on how this stuff works, but there are instances where one will complete something on allconsuming. If it’s not immediately marked “Worth Consuming,” the feed gets tagged as “Not Worth Consuming” Subsequent updates, especially when I’d be writing an entry about it, and explicitly label it “Worth Consuming” do not update the feed.
While I’d be happy to support 43t with money, the $1/pop “super cheer” makes me nervous, especially as there’d be some ‘splainin’ to do with the random charges I’d no doubt incur.
Would you consider a “premium membership” at a fixed price per year that comes with an allotment of “Super Cheers?”
Been working at the neighborhood watch… it’d be a lot easier to go through these if I didn’t have to click so much. For example, after flagging a user up or down, it send you to their profile. It would save a bunch of clicks going back to neighborhood watch. (I think it did this last week.)
Also, since there are a lot of occurrences of hacker crap (e.g. “hack gaia” “get gaia gold” “get yahoo passwords”), maybe have a button for that?
The HDF5 format is used by a wide variety of audiences because of its flexibility (for example, it’s one of the two underlying databases for CGNS however, Tecplot’s implementation hasn’t kept up very well. This would be an excellent foray into open source and providing users a means of extending the functionality.
I agree with the logic to encourage one to think. However, the feed is sometimes temperamental, especially on allconsuming when working with lists. For example, when I ticked off Slaughterhouse 5, my feed shows I rated it “Not worth consuming.” Yet allconsuming shows it as properly “Worth Consuming”
I’m not sure I see the utility of mapping roads; however, this would be very beneficial for mapping trails. For example, just a few minutes ago I was trying to figure out the best way to represent the Iron Horse State Park trail that spans ~108 miles from Rattlesnake Lake (North Bend) to parts east.
