Someone who bothers to write an entry for WP based on their knowledge should be respected by the community allowing their article to remain, perhaps tagged as “unconfirmed” rather than all this bother about notability and deletion.
If you want a respectable source, go to Britannica or another information purveyor.
WP is for and by us, the Great Unwashed.
I now get spam inside YouTube as well. Will this never cease?
Please ban the apps that let people add glittery animated gifs and widgets… they crash my browser and make life a drag.
For many years I didn’t realize that the green button was open for the programmer to decide.
If they wanted to make it maximize, they could. Or they could have it do something wierd.
Switch to the Finder and try this:
Shift-click on it: Maximize
Option-click on it: Cascade all open windows.
Awesome! Now why not allow the user to decide what they want it to do via a Preference Pane?
While we’re on the subject of Finder tips, try option-double clicking on a titlebar while you have several windows open. They all go into the dock!
Lastly, about the resizing. I’ve been using a utility called Zooom that gives you a nifty way of resizing… check it out!
I am sick of seeing blue, black and green search results on a white page, in Helvetica.
I could use http://www.blackle.com but I don’t like that much either.
