Cares about: Apple, Gmail, Boing Boing, Alberto Gonzales, del.icio.us

del.icio.us should allow users to block people from making "Links for you"

The help file for links for you says “There is no way to delete items from this page right now.” The FAQ says to contact them if you’re getting link spam via this method.

Instead, I think that there should be some way to reject a fan. Maybe I don’t want them to be able to leave me links, maybe I think that their links are a form of harrassment, or whatever—I shouldn’t have to claim it’s spam to be able to get it out of my face.

Apple has done release new iPods with the iPhone interface

This is the iPod Touch.

Boing Boing should allow comment registration via OpenID

According to Anil Dash:

MT4’s built-in user registration features let Boing Boing create its own database of registered users. And if they want to support OpenID in the future as as sign-in option, MT4 has OpenID authentication built in.
If it’s that straightforward to add OpenID support, they should.

Gmail should allow filters to set email as "not spam"

I get plenty of email (from many different people) that I know isn’t spam. I can add tags to that email, but I can’t simply say, “this isn’t spam.” Gmail’s solution is to add the sender to my address book, which works for that one person—but it doesn’t help the next one, or the one after that.
