Adobe has done switch to an all-out Flash-based PDF Reader plug-in

Adobe has created a Flash based PDF viewer but it doesn’t offer all the functionality of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Still it’s a very good (small) application if all you need is the ability to read PDFs:

Google should enable offline access to Gmail using Google Gears

I’d love to have access to maybe the last 100 or so conversations on my computer even when I’m not online. And if I could write e-mails when offline and have them automatically send when I reconnect that would be great too.

The Palm Centro should come with a great alarm clock

The alarm clock (which is buried in the “World Clock”) will only go off once every 24-hours. So you have to manually turn it on before each time you want to use it. I’ve written more here.
