Or at least figure out some way of unifying logins for all of their own products. I’m logged in to adsense, webmaster tools, and gmail, all with different accounts.
I know it’s not trivial, but neither is indexing the entire web (oh, and yahoo has done it…).
Reserve a few rooms in the store for customers to pull furniture from the warehouse shelves, allen-wrench it together, and decorate. People who are serious can actually see what things look like together beyond the preset displays. For people who are less serious it would build on the theme park atmosphere and provide a reason to keep coming back.
There are two buses that go between downtown Seattle and Seatac airport—194 (aka the fast one) and 174 (aka the slow one). The 194 doesn’t run on Sunday, so when I fly back home on Sunday (which I seem to do often) I get stuck on the slow one.
I get a nice leisurely tour of the dive bars, motels, and hole in the wall ethnic restaurants on 99 S of Seattle though.
Our printer has suddenly decided that it won’t listen to our MacBooks over the wifi network, so if we want to print something we have to walk over there and plug it in.
If Apple made a printer it would at least work with our macs. And fit in with our ikea meets apple store decor…
Opening the API to allow groups to add applications to the group (just like they allow individuals to add applications to their profiles) will open up a lot more possibilities for companies, nonprofits, organizations, etc. to participate in networks.
